Every pastor who has ever said yes to this calling started with a picture of something — a church that is healthy, growing, and multiplying. Full of life. Centered in the Gospel. Producing more of itself.

But somewhere between that picture and the present moment, most pastors find themselves leading alone, moving slow, and unsure of what's actually true about where they are.

Not because they lack dedication. Not because they don't love their people. Not because the vision was wrong.

Because the gap is real. And it is hard. And most leaders are trying to cross it without a map, without a guide, and without anyone in the room who actually understands what they're carrying.

We exist so that no church planter plants alone. The City to City SoCal Accelerator exists to change that.

For churches that have lost momentum, hit a plateau, or need a fresh start, the Breakthrough Cohort creates space for honest diagnosis, wise outside perspective, and a clear action plan—so leaders can relaunch with confidence and measurable next steps.

Multiply Cohort

Preparing for Reproduction & Scale
You've built a healthy church. Now the question is whether it can reproduce itself. This cohort is for pastors who are ready to move from building one church to multiplying many — and need a clear framework, honest accountability, and a room of leaders who are ready to make the same move.

Braintrusts

A braintrust is a small group of peers who bring their collective wisdom to a shared challenge. The model gathers diverse perspectives around one table — not to direct or decide, but to see what one person alone cannot. The result is sharper thinking, honest feedback, and better solutions.

Gospel Patron Braintrust

This braintrust champions innovative, new-wineskin approaches to church planting amid the challenging realities of Southern California. We explore a model that frees the church’s financial capacity for greater ministry and mission: planting a church without the intention of drawing a salary from the church.

Gen Z & Alpha Generation Planters

For emerging leaders under 30 who are reimagining what it means to plant a gospel expression in Southern California. Together, participants bring their collective wisdom to shared challenges, exploring innovative approaches to church planting that address the realities of cost, culture, and calling in today's landscape.
